My Journey and Experience
I have been tinkering with technology since I was sixteen years old. What started as a teenager’s curiosity quickly turned into a lifelong passion. Everything I know today was forged through hands-on practice, real-world troubleshooting, and a relentless drive to understand how things work. That curiosity has led me on countless adventures, each one teaching me something new and valuable about the digital world.
My professional background was built in the trenches of the industry. At Spectrum, I mastered the complexities of coax systems and learned the importance of helping people directly in their homes. My time at Micro Center, working in both sales and service, sharpened my technical skills and my ability to find the right solutions for every budget. I eventually moved into large-scale infrastructure, managing the technology for six Lowe’s stores, where I ensured massive systems stayed online and ran smoothly around the clock.
Today, I manage tech operations for over thirty locations with a dedicated team. We handle everything from complex networking and server maintenance to individual smartphones, office systems, and cloud management (Microsoft and Google). My experience at Verizon also gave me a deep look into the cellular world, helping me understand exactly how mobile networks and service processes function.
Even when I’m off the clock, I’m still exploring. I’ve spent years building custom PCs, repairing phones, and managing my own home servers. These experiences give me the confidence and the passion I bring to every home I visit.
Why I Do This
I understand deeply that technology can be overwhelming. I’ve seen the frustration it causes when it fails, and I take immense pride in approaching every situation with patience and compassion. There’s a phrase I live by: “Listen first, judge never.” It reminds me to put myself in your shoes. To understand the frustration, the confusion, and the worry that tech issues bring.
I am never afraid to say, “I don’t know,” because I always follow it with, “But let me figure it out.” To me, technology is an exciting puzzle that pushes me to grow. Mistakes don’t scare me; they are just milestones in the learning process. What matters most to me is taking full responsibility, staying committed to the fix, and making sure my customers feel completely taken care of long after the job is done.
